The 23IND13 ScreenFood Project was presented at the 16th International Symposium on Biological and Environmental Reference Materials, which took place on 1-4 June, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
During the posters’ presentations, the ScreenFood project coordinator Chiara Portesi provided insights on the project aims, objectives, ongoing research and stakeholders’ involvement. The overall aim of the ScreenFood project is to develop analytical strategies and reference materials supporting food and food packaging industries in the provision of safe and sustainable products compliant to legislation.
This goes in line with the BERM-16 event which presents a unique opportunity to foster collaboration between publicly funded reference material producers, academia and commercial standards providers to fulfill future requirements across a broad spectrum of analytical fields.
